Lactose & its derivatives: Welcome reception

The Grand opening of the IDF Symposium "Lactose and its Derivatives" had a bright and spectaculous event. At 18.00 all the participants of the prestigious forum assembled in the lobby at Academy of Public Administration to listen to the words of welcome delivered in English, German, Italian, Chinese and many other languages.

Technical Director of IDF J. Seifert opened the event, further giving the floor to Representative of Department of Food Industry of Ministry of Agriculture, RF, Mr. Seryoghin, who greeted the participants on behalf of Minister of Agriculture A. Gordeev. He was succeeded by Rector of North Caucasus State Technical University B. Sinelnikov, Vice-President of Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences E. Sizenko, Director of All-Russian Dairy Scientific Research Institute V. Kharitonov, and Chief Executive of Russian Dairy Union V. Labinov.

After the official opening ceremony the participants of the symposium visited the concert, made by dance groups from Stavropol Philharmonic Society and NCSTU. There they could see brilliant performance of "Fuete", "Zhuravushka", "Dancing Flight" and "Gorets" dance groups.

The concert was followed by the welcome party where the participants of the symposium could talk to each other in less formal environment.
